Forward Hispanic Community Services (FHCS) offers the following services to the community.
Preventive Behavior. Preventive education programs for teenagers and parents.
Mental Health. Determine clients’ emotional well-being, behavior, adjustment and interpersonal functioning.
Parenting Capacity. Determine the quality of the relationship between parents and children.
Domestic Violence Risk. Risk assessment for individuals or groups in accordance with the guidelines of the Illinois Partner Abuse Interventions
Program (PAIP).
Anger Management. Help clients control their inappropriate reactions to anger-provoking stimuli and express their feelings of anger in appropriate ways.
Counseling and Psychotherapy. Provide high-quality bilingual counseling to children, adolescents, adults, couples and elderly.
Home-based and out-of-home Therapeutic Interventions and Treatment. Performed by bilingual professionals with respect for cultural sensitivity and spiritual values.
Comprehensive Sex Offense Specific Evaluations and Treatment. Improve sex offenders’ ability to manage their harmful behavior and decrease their risk of re-offense.
Services provided under Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (IDCFS) Contract to:
Establish permanency by maintaining, strengthening and safeguarding the function of families.
Prevent substitute care placement.
Promote family reunification.
Stabilize foster care placement.
Facilitate youth development services.
Ensure the safety and well-being of children.
